This design, presented to you in its unadulterated original form as a very well-worn title page, comes from a 1820 volume titled A Treatise on Adulterations of Food, and Culinary Poisons. Its extremely long subtitle ("exhibiting the fraudulent sophistications of bread, beer, wine, spirituous liquors, tea, coffee, cream, confectionary, vinegar, mustard, pepper, cheese, olive oil, pickles, and other articles employed in domestic economy, and methods of detecting them") is rivaled only by the list of the author's list of qualifications. At its center is a beautiful illustration of a human skull, intertwined snakes, and a pot or urn with the legend There is DEATH in the Pot. That's not sinister at all!

Truly an amazing gift for chefs, cooks, home brewers, bakers, charcuterie enthusiasts, or that one uncle who always mildly food-poisons everyone at the family barbecue. The largest size at almost 10" tall is also a perfect size to slap on the front of your recipe book of poisons-- uh, wait, no, your school notebooks. With the math and things. Totally normal and fine.

These stickers are 100% vinyl and printed with high-quality water-based latex ink; they're scratch and weather resistant, dishwasher safe, and sun and UV resistant, which means they'll hold up for years, even in the sun, rain, and snow. They're also removable with no residue, so you can reposition them if you didn't get it quite right the first time. Or if you need to remove the evidence that you knew exactly how to poison the pickles and it was a PERFECT CRIME!
