The vintage illustration is framed by the name of the book above, and the name of the artist, Edouard Joseph d'Alton, below. The species depicted are the European elk (moose), Irish elk, reindeer, fallow deer, red deer, roe deer, and a few bonus detail illustrations of some cervid teeth. The illustrations are drawn in relative size to one another, so it's a great size comparison for different species in the Cervidae family.
