La Velue Medieval Monster Men's / Unisex T-Shirt
La Velue, literally "the hairy one," was the terror of the River Huisne in France during the middle ages. It is portrayed in this beautiful 1889 pamphlet illustration in all its serpent-headed, turtle-shelled, poison-spiked glory. La Velue was known for laying waste to the countryside, gorging itself in the sheep-folds, devouring the local women and children, and sometimes breathing fire or causing floods. It's all a little vague. It might be the same creature that is called the Tarasque in Provence, and the Peluda in Spain.
The historic illustration is presented here without any modifications or additions, because it's just that good.
This comfy t-shirt is made of 100% ringspun cotton (except for the heather grey color, which is 10% polyester). It runs true to size, and comes pre-laundered from the manufacturer to prevent shrinkage.
