Sometimes you just wake up hungry, angry, and ready to tear apart your enemies. We've all been there. La Bête du Gévaudan — in English, The Beast of Gévaudan — was a wolf (or wolves, or perhaps something else entirely) that terrorized the French countryside between 1764 and 1767, brazenly attacking humans in broad daylight and frequently consuming them; one study estimates the number of attacks at 210, deaths at 113, and injuries at 49. The attacks quickly induced a general state of panic and hysteria, with the French government offering bounties and sending soldiers and hunters to track the beast down, and its reign of terror soon became a legend that's lived even into the modern day. Though a likely culprit (a large wolf or wolf-dog) was finally found and the killings ended, mysteries around the beast still remain. Descriptions from victims made it sound almost like a lion or hyena. Modern takes on the legend lean towards werewolves, and here at The Shrike Society we're always ready for werewolves.

Whatever your theory of the animal's origins, you can commemorate its years of inciting terror with this delightful sticker, which features the beast's moniker in French, followed by the slogan "all men must die." It's in French, so it's extra fancy!

These stickers are 100% vinyl and printed with high-quality water-based latex ink; they're scratch and weather resistant, dishwasher safe, and sun and UV resistant, which means they'll hold up for years, even in the sun, rain, and snow. They're also removable with no residue, so you can reposition them if you didn't get it quite right the first time.
