"Vulture Culture" is a term used to describe the scavengers-of-dead-things vibe of the bone collector community. So it only seems fitting to celebrate Vulture Culture with a literal vulture or two. At the center is an full skeleton illustration of an unknown species of vulture, possibly the Cinereous Vulture. Surrounding it are the skulls and sternums of several species: the White Tailed Eagle, Eurasian Eagle-Owl, Bearded Vulture, Ural owl, Common Kestrel, Barn Owl, and Eurasian Sparrowhawk.

This incredible illustrative etching is by artist Edouard d'Alton, and comes from the 1821 osteological masterpiece Die vergleichende Osteologie. Is that the best collection of scientific illustrations ever published? In our opinion, it's got to be right up there. We're thinking about starting an Edouard d'Alton fan club even though he's been dead for almost 200 years. Don't judge us.

This is the perfect garment for all sorts of nerds: bird nerds, zoology nerds, osteology nerds, anatomy nerds, vintage illustrative etching nerds, you name it! (We're all of those kinds of nerd at once.)

This tee is made with 100% combed ringspun cotton (except for the heather grey, which containers 10% polyester). What does that mean, exactly? That's t-shirt people speak for "it's comfy." It's pre-laundered by the manufacturer to ensure a great fit without shrinkage, and it has a tear-away label because nobody likes a scratchy collar tag.
